How to Convert Hourly to Annual Salary
Converting an hourly wage to an annual salary is straightforward. Simply multiply your hourly rate by the number of hours you work per week, then multiply by 52 (weeks per year).
Formula: Annual Salary = Hourly Rate × Hours per Week × 52
For example, if you earn $20 per hour and work 40 hours per week: $20 × 40 × 52 = $41,600 per year
Converting Salary to Hourly Rate
To convert an annual salary to an hourly rate, divide the annual salary by the total number of working hours in a year (typically 2,080 hours for full-time work).
Formula: Hourly Rate = Annual Salary ÷ 2,080
For example, a $60,000 annual salary equals: $60,000 ÷ 2,080 = $28.85 per hour
